cloudera.exe.prereq_activitymonitor role – Set up database and user accounts for Activity Monitor

This role is part of the cloudera.exe collection (version 3.0.0).

It is not included in ansible-core. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.

To install it use: ansible-galaxy collection install cloudera.exe..

To use it in a playbook, specify: cloudera.exe.prereq_activitymonitor.

Entry point `main` – Set up database and user accounts for Activity Monitor 

New in cloudera.exe 3.0.0

Set up the Activity Monitor database and its associated user accounts, ensuring proper configuration for Activity Monitor operations.
Default values are used for the username, password, and database name, but these can be overwritten by setting the activity_monitor_username, activity_monitor_password, and activity_monitor_database variables.

activity_monitor_database string	The name of the database to be created for Activity Monitor. Default: `"amon"`
activity_monitor_password string	The password for the Activity Monitor database user. Default: `"amon"`
activity_monitor_username string	The username for the Activity Monitor database user and owner of the database. Default: `"amon"`
database_admin_password string / required	The password for the database administrative user.
database_admin_user string / required	The username with administrative privileges to manage the database.
database_host string / required	The hostname or IP address of the database server to establish the connection.
database_type string / required	Specifies the type of database to connect to (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle). Choices: `"postgresql"` `"mysql"` `"oracle"`
