cloudera.exe.prereq_knox_database role – Set up database and user accounts for Knox

This role is part of the cloudera.exe collection (version 3.0.0).

It is not included in ansible-core. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list.

To install it use: ansible-galaxy collection install cloudera.exe..

To use it in a playbook, specify: cloudera.exe.prereq_knox_database.

Synopsis

  • Set up the Apache Knox database and its associated user accounts, ensuring proper configuration for Knox operations.

  • Default values are used for the username, password, and database name, but these can be overwritten by setting the knox_username, knox_password, and knox_database variables.

Choices:

knox_database

string

The name of the database to be created for Knox.

Default: "knox"

knox_password

string

The password for the Knox database user.

Default: "knox"

knox_username

string

The username for the Knox database user and owner of the database.

Default: "knox"
